India – Christ in a kaleidoscope culture

Join an intimate group of pilgrims in this historic land, home to diverse faiths and people groups, where tradition says St. Thomas brought the Gospel soon after the ascension of Jesus.
There’s colour, chaos, creativity, crowds, and amazing hospitality. We’ll come home with eyes brightened, minds expanded, and faith enriched as we see Christianity in this kaleidoscope culture.
Our world is divided and sometimes we don’t grasp the nuances. India provides up-close insight to key religions, helping us respond to the calls of our age. Like Esther, prepare “for such a time as this.”
Our professor and guides will teach the faiths of India onsite as we visit temples, mosques, rivers and cities: Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Jainism, Sikhism. We’ll worship with believers in a thriving Baptist Church, and learn the long history of Christ in the land. Through it all, God who loves the whole world, speaks hope in the Lord Jesus.
Space is very limited – be one among a handful to explore this Land of the Bible (mentioned as long ago as the Book of Esther.) Let all your senses be opened. You’ll never be the same!
